The ASHCROFT 94214 is a liquid-filled industrial pressure gauge rated for 0 to 2000 psi, designed for demanding service environments in HVAC, plumbing, and industrial process applications. The 2.5-inch analog dial delivers clear, direct readings. A stainless steel case and polycarbonate lens protect internal components from vibration, pulsation, and moisture ingress. Liquid fill dampens needle movement on systems with pressure spikes or continuous vibration, extending service life and maintaining legibility. Accuracy is rated at 1 percent of full scale, making it suitable for monitoring system pressures where consistent, reliable indication is required. A lower-mount 1/4-inch NPT threaded connection fits standard gauge ports found throughout commercial and industrial systems.
This gauge is used in residential and commercial HVAC systems, chilled water and hot water piping, compressed air lines, hydraulic circuits, and general industrial process plumbing. The lower-mount NPT configuration suits panel-mount and pipe-tee installations where the gauge stem points downward from the dial face. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial mechanics routinely specify liquid-filled gauges in this range for boiler systems, pressure test setups, and pump discharge monitoring. The 2.5-inch dial size fits standard gauge ports and panel cutouts common across the trade.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation pressure gauge for systems with a standard 1/4-inch lower-mount NPT gauge port rated to 2000 psi service.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or qualified industrial mechanic in accordance with applicable local codes and system manufacturer guidelines. Depressurize and isolate the system before removing an existing gauge or threading the new gauge into service. Apply appropriate thread sealant to the NPT connection and tighten to a snug, leak-free fit using a wrench on the gauge hex only — do not use the case body for leverage. Verify system pressure does not exceed the 2000 psi maximum rated range of this gauge.
