The ASHCROFT 94213 is a liquid-filled industrial pressure gauge designed for demanding service environments where vibration, pulsation, and corrosive media are common concerns. The gauge features a 2.5-inch analog dial with a 0 to 1500 psi range, a lower-mount 1/4-inch NPT connection, and a stainless steel case. Accuracy is rated at 1 percent of full scale. The 316 stainless steel Bourdon tube and 304/316 stainless steel case construction make this gauge a reliable choice for hydraulic, pneumatic, chemical, and process piping applications where long service life is required.
This gauge is suited for commercial and industrial installations including HVAC hydronic systems, compressed air lines, hydraulic equipment, chemical processing pipelines, and general industrial pressure monitoring. The liquid-filled design dampens needle flutter caused by pressure spikes and mechanical vibration, improving readability in the field. The lower-mount NPT connection allows direct installation into pipe fittings, manifolds, or tee fittings on vertical or horizontal runs. Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber, pipefitter, or industrial maintenance technician in accordance with applicable local codes and system design requirements. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any pressure gauge. Apply thread sealant tape or compound to the NPT threads before installation and tighten to fitting manufacturer specifications using an appropriate wrench on the gauge hex — do not apply torque to the dial case. Verify the system pressure range does not exceed the gauge maximum of 1500 psi during normal or transient operation.
