The ASHCROFT 93266 is a watertight single setpoint pressure switch designed for industrial and commercial control applications where reliable pressure-triggered switching is required. It features a 316 stainless steel wetted element and an aluminum housing built to handle demanding environments. The switch carries an SPDT contact form and supports a maximum pressure setting of 1000 psi. It operates across a wide voltage range including 125, 250, and 480 volts AC and 30, 125, and 250 volts DC, making it compatible with a broad range of control circuits. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and industrial controls specialists install this type of switch in compressed air, oil, food-grade, and water systems.
The 93266 is suited for residential, commercial, and light industrial installations where pressure monitoring or limit control is needed. The 1/4 inch NPTF male thread provides a direct, leak-resistant connection to standard piping and instrumentation fittings. Its setpoint is field-adjustable, allowing technicians to dial in the trip point without replacing the switch. The operating temperature range of -20 degrees F to 150 degrees F covers most mechanical room and outdoor equipment enclosure conditions. It is appropriate for use with air, food, oil, and water media as specified by the manufacturer.
Designed for use with air, food, oil, and water media systems requiring a 1/4 inch NPTF male process connection and a single setpoint SPDT pressure switch with an adjustable trip point up to 1000 psi.
Installation should be performed by a licensed technician familiar with pressure instrumentation and applicable electrical codes including NEC requirements for hazardous location wiring where Class I or Class II Div 1 ratings apply. Depressurize and isolate the system before removing any existing switch or making the process connection. Verify the control circuit voltage matches the switch rating before energizing. Do not exceed the 1000 psi maximum pressure setting or the -20 to 150 degrees F temperature range.
