The ASHCROFT 93033 is a large-dial analog pressure gauge designed for industrial and commercial applications requiring precise pressure monitoring. It features an 8.5-inch aluminum-case dial with a borosilicate glass lens and a Monel Bourdon tube, making it well suited for corrosive media and demanding service environments. The gauge reads 0 to 1000 psi with an accuracy of 0.25 percent of scale, which meets tight tolerances expected in critical process and mechanical systems. Connection is via a 1/4-inch NPT lower-mount fitting, allowing direct inline or panel-base installation. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance techs are the primary installers.
This gauge is appropriate for residential, commercial, and light industrial pressure measurement on water, gas, steam-compatible, and chemical service lines where Monel wetted parts are specified. The lower-mount NPT connection fits standard pipe manifolds, test ports, and pressure vessels. The 8.5-inch dial improves readability at a distance, making it a common choice for boiler rooms, pump skids, compressor stations, and process control panels. Installation should be performed by a licensed pipefitter, plumber, or qualified mechanical technician. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing an existing gauge or installing a new connection. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the NPT threads in accordance with the applicable plumbing or mechanical code. Do not over-tighten the fitting against the gauge socket, as excessive torque can damage the Bourdon tube connection.
