The ASHCROFT 93002 is an analog pressure gauge designed for accurate pressure measurement in industrial and mechanical systems. It features a 6-inch aluminum case dial with a glass lens and a Bourdon tube made of Monel, a corrosion-resistant alloy suited for demanding fluid and gas applications. The gauge measures pressure from 0 to 1500 psi with an accuracy rating of 0.25 percent of scale, making it appropriate for systems that require precise, reliable readings. The lower-mount 1/4-inch NPT connection allows direct pipe-mounted installation. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, HVAC technicians, and mechanical contractors typically install and service this type of gauge.
The ASHCROFT 93002 is well suited for use in commercial and industrial piping systems, hydraulic circuits, compressed air systems, and process lines where high-pressure monitoring is required. The 6-inch dial face provides clear, at-a-glance readability from a distance, making it practical for equipment rooms, mechanical spaces, and panel-mounted applications. The Monel Bourdon tube extends service life in corrosive or chemically aggressive media environments. This gauge carries CRN certification, indicating compliance with Canadian Registration Number requirements for pressure-containing equipment.
Designed as an OEM-style and aftermarket replacement pressure gauge for industrial, commercial, and mechanical systems using 1/4-inch NPT lower-mount connections with pressure ranges up to 1500 psi.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or qualified mechanical technician. Always depressurize and isolate the system before removing or installing the gauge. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the NPT threads as appropriate for the media being measured, and do not overtighten, as the aluminum case can be damaged by excessive torque. Verify that system pressure does not exceed the gauge maximum rating during operation.
