The ASHCROFT 92955XLL is a process industrial pressure gauge designed for demanding commercial and industrial applications where reliable pressure monitoring is critical. The gauge features a 4.5-inch analog dial with a measurement range of 0 to 800 psi and an accuracy rating of 0.5 percent of scale, making it suitable for systems requiring precise pressure readings. The thermoplastic case resists corrosion and withstands harsh environments. A glass lens provides clear dial visibility. The rear flange mount configuration allows panel or wall installation with the connection oriented straight back from the dial face. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and process engineers install this gauge on pressurized piping, fluid systems, and industrial equipment where a secure, visible pressure indication is needed.
This gauge is suited for process piping, industrial fluid systems, and mechanical equipment installations in both commercial and light industrial settings. The 0.25-inch MNPT threaded connection fits standard male national pipe taper fittings common throughout HVAC, plumbing, and industrial process lines. The no-fill, non-liquid-filled design simplifies installation and eliminates concerns about filler fluid compatibility with system media. The rear flange mount allows the gauge to be recessed into a panel or mounted flush against a surface for a clean, secure fit.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-install process pressure gauge for industrial and commercial pressurized piping systems using standard 0.25-inch MNPT threaded connections. Meets CRN and IP66/NEMA 4X standards.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or qualified HVAC technician in accordance with applicable local mechanical codes. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing an existing gauge or making a new connection. Apply thread sealant appropriate for the system media to the MNPT threads before installation. Do not over-torque the threaded connection, as thermoplastic fittings and gauge bodies can crack under excessive force.
