The ASHCROFT 92916 is an analog pressure gauge designed for accurate pressure monitoring across plumbing, HVAC, and industrial service applications. It features a 3-inch diameter dial with a 0 to 600 psi range, making it suitable for moderate- to high-pressure system readings. The Bourdon tube is constructed from 316 stainless steel, and the case is also 316 stainless steel for corrosion resistance in demanding environments. Accuracy is rated at 0.5 percent of scale. The gauge mounts via a 1/4-inch NPT lower-mount connection. Licensed trades including plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pipefitters routinely install this gauge for system pressure verification and ongoing monitoring.
The 92916 is well suited for residential and light commercial applications where reliable pressure indication is needed on water supply lines, hydronic heating systems, compressed air lines, or refrigeration circuits. The lower-mount configuration positions the inlet port at the bottom of the gauge, which is the standard orientation for panel and pipe-mounted installs. The polycarbonate lens provides a clear view of the analog dial face in typical field conditions.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation pressure gauge for systems requiring a 1/4-inch NPT lower-mount analog gauge with a 3-inch dial and a 0 to 600 psi range.
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber, pipefitter, or HVAC technician familiar with the pressure rating of the system being serviced. Isolate and depressurize the system fully before removing any existing gauge or fitting the new gauge. Apply appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to the NPT threads per standard piping practice. Do not over-tighten the fitting, as this may damage the gauge body or threads.
