The ASHCROFT 92915 is an analog pressure gauge designed for accurate pressure monitoring across plumbing, HVAC, and industrial piping systems. It features a 3-inch dial with a 0 to 400 psi range and delivers 0.5 percent of scale accuracy using a 316 stainless steel Bourdon tube. The lower-mount, 1/4-inch NPT connection allows direct inline installation on pipes and equipment ports. The stainless steel case — also 316 grade — and polycarbonate lens make this gauge suitable for demanding service environments. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and pipefitters are the primary installers of this instrument.
This gauge is appropriate for residential and light commercial applications including boiler systems, hydronic heating loops, water supply lines, compressed air systems, and refrigeration circuit monitoring where the operating pressure does not exceed 400 psi. The 3-inch dial size provides a clear, readable display in confined mechanical room installations. The lower-mount configuration suits panel-mounted or riser-pipe installations where the connection enters from the bottom. Installation is performed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, or HVAC technicians in accordance with applicable local mechanical codes and ASME B40.100 gauge installation guidelines. Depressurize and isolate the system fully before removing any existing gauge or threading in the new one. Apply thread sealant tape or compound to the NPT threads — do not over-tighten, as this can distort the gauge socket. Avoid installing the gauge in a location subject to continuous vibration without an isolation valve or snubber.
