The ASHCROFT 92914 is an analog pressure gauge designed for accurate pressure monitoring in HVAC, plumbing, and industrial process applications. It features a 3-inch dial with a 0 to 200 psi range and delivers 0.5% of scale accuracy, making it suitable for precision system diagnostics and ongoing pressure verification. The gauge uses a 316 stainless steel Bourdon tube internals and a 316 stainless steel case, providing corrosion resistance in demanding environments. A polycarbonate lens protects the dial face while maintaining readability. The lower mount configuration with a 1/4-inch NPT threaded connection simplifies installation on pipe tees, manifolds, and pressure ports. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and pipefitters are the primary installers of this gauge.
This gauge is suited for residential and light commercial HVAC systems, hydronic heating loops, chilled water circuits, steam systems, and plumbing pressure testing. The stainless steel construction makes it a practical choice for mildly corrosive or wet environments where a standard brass-case gauge would degrade prematurely. The 3-inch dial face provides clear reading from typical service distances without additional magnification. The lower mount orientation is standard for most pipe-mounted gauge ports and works with common gauge valves and snubbers. It is sold individually with no minimum order beyond a single unit.

Installation is performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or pipefitters. Shut down the system and relieve all pressure from the line before removing or installing the gauge. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the NPT threads and tighten to snug plus hand-tight — do not overtighten, as this can damage the gauge socket. Verify the gauge range is appropriate for the system operating pressure before placing the system back in service.
