The ASHCROFT 92913 is an analog pressure gauge built for trade applications that demand accurate, reliable pressure readings. It features a 3-inch dial with a 0 to 150 psi range and reads with an accuracy of 0.5 percent of scale. The Bourdon tube and case are both constructed from 316 stainless steel, making this gauge well-suited for corrosive or demanding service environments. A polycarbonate lens protects the dial face. The lower-mount, 1/4-inch NPT connection allows direct installation into pipelines, equipment ports, and manifolds where vertical gauge positioning is required. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and pipefitters are the typical installers of this type of gauge.
This gauge is appropriate for use in residential and commercial plumbing, HVAC systems, compressed air lines, and process piping where a durable, accurate pressure reading instrument is needed at a standard 1/4-inch NPT port. The lower-mount configuration suits panel-mounted or pipe-mounted installations where the gauge face needs to be read from above. The stainless steel construction and CRN certification expand its suitability to Canadian registration requirements and corrosive-media service situations.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement or new-installation pressure gauge for systems equipped with a 1/4-inch NPT lower-mount port requiring a 3-inch dial gauge with a 0 to 150 psi range.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or HVAC technician in accordance with applicable local codes and the International Plumbing Code or IFGC where relevant. Isolate and depressurize the system completely before removing an existing gauge or installing this unit. Use thread sealant appropriate for the media and pressure rating on the NPT threads. Do not over-tighten the connection; snug plus a controlled turn with a wrench is sufficient to achieve a proper seal without stressing the gauge body.
