The ASHCROFT 92911 is an analog pressure gauge designed for accurate pressure monitoring in mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and industrial piping systems. It features a 3-inch dial with a 0 to 60 psi range and delivers 0.5% of scale accuracy, making it suitable for applications where precise readings are required. The wetted Bourdon tube is constructed from 316 stainless steel, and the case is also 316 stainless steel, providing corrosion resistance in demanding environments. A polycarbonate lens protects the dial face. The 1/4-inch NPT lower mount connection allows for direct installation into threaded pipe fittings without additional adapters.
This gauge is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing, hydronic heating systems, compressed air lines, water treatment equipment, and general fluid system monitoring. The lower mount configuration positions the connection at the bottom of the gauge, which is standard for panel-mounted or pipe-tee installations. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, HVAC technicians, and mechanical contractors regularly specify this gauge for system commissioning and ongoing pressure monitoring. Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or qualified HVAC technician in accordance with applicable local codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC) or International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC) where relevant. Always depressurize and isolate the system before installing or removing the gauge. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the NPT threads before tightening — do not overtighten, as this can damage the gauge port or fittings. Verify the system operating pressure does not exceed the gauge maximum range of 60 psi.
