The ASHCROFT 929082 is an analog pressure gauge designed for accurate pressure monitoring in plumbing, HVAC, and industrial piping applications. It features a 3-inch dial with a 0 to 15 psi range and delivers 0.5% of scale accuracy, making it suitable for low-pressure system diagnostics and ongoing process monitoring. The gauge is constructed with a 316 stainless steel case and a 316 stainless steel Bourdon tube for corrosion resistance in demanding environments. A polycarbonate lens protects the dial face. The lower mount configuration accepts a 1/4-inch NPT connection, allowing direct installation into threaded ports on pipes, manifolds, or equipment panels.
This gauge is well suited for residential and light commercial plumbing systems, hydronic heating loops, compressed air lines, and water treatment equipment where low-range pressure readings are required. The lower mount orientation makes it practical for panel-mounted or pipe-tee installations where the gauge face needs to read upright. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pipefitters commonly use gauges of this type for commissioning, troubleshooting, and permanent monitoring installations.
Designed as an OEM-style or replacement analog pressure gauge for systems requiring a 1/4-inch NPT lower mount connection and a 0 to 15 psi measurement range.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified HVAC or pipefitting technician. Depressurize and isolate the system before threading the gauge into the port. Apply thread sealant tape or pipe compound to the NPT threads per local code requirements — do not overtighten, as stainless steel fittings can gall. Verify the gauge range is appropriate for the system operating pressure before returning the system to service.
