The gauge features an 8.5-inch dial with a 0 to 300 psi range and delivers a measurement accuracy of 0.25 percent of scale, making it suitable for installations where precise readings are critical. The bourdon tube is constructed from bronze, and the case is aluminum. It uses a 1/4-inch lower mount connection, positioning the port at the six-o-clock position for direct panel or pipe mounting. The ASHCROFT 92900 is well suited for use in commercial HVAC systems, hydronic heating and cooling circuits, compressed air lines, and general plumbing pressure monitoring. Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician, plumber, or pipefitter in accordance with applicable local codes and ASME B40.100 gauge installation guidelines. Isolate and depressurize the system fully before removing any existing gauge or fitting the new one. Use appropriate thread sealant on the 1/4-inch NPT connection and avoid overtightening, which can crack the socket or case. Do not use this gauge in service with media that is incompatible with bronze or aluminum without consulting the manufacturer specifications.
