It features a 6-inch dial for easy readability and covers a range of 0 to 5,000 psi with an accuracy of 0.25 percent of scale. The Bourdon tube is constructed from Monel, a corrosion-resistant alloy suited for aggressive media. The case is aluminum, keeping overall weight manageable while providing durable protection. A 1/4-inch lower-mount NPT connection allows direct inline installation. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, pipefitters, and mechanical contractors are the typical installers for this type of gauge.
This gauge is appropriate for high-pressure applications in industrial process piping, hydraulic systems, compressor lines, and mechanical utility systems where accurate pressure monitoring is required. The 6-inch dial diameter makes it well-suited for panel-mount or pipe-mount installations where technicians need to read pressure from a distance. Do not over-tighten the connection, as aluminum case gauges can be damaged by excessive torque applied at the case body rather than the wrench hex.
