The ASHCROFT 92877 is an analog pressure gauge designed for accurate pressure monitoring in mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and industrial service applications. It features a 6-inch aluminum case dial with a glass lens, a 0 to 150 psi range, and a lower-mount 1/4-inch NPT connection. The bronze Bourdon tube provides reliable response across the full pressure range, and the 0.25 percent of scale accuracy rating makes it suitable for applications where precise readings are required. Licensed contractors and service technicians use this gauge for system commissioning, leak testing, and ongoing pressure monitoring across a wide range of fluid and gas systems.
The ASHCROFT 92877 is well suited for residential and commercial HVAC systems, hydronic heating circuits, compressed air lines, water supply systems, and general plumbing pressure monitoring. The 6-inch dial provides easy readability at a distance, making it practical for panel-mounted or pipe-mounted installations in mechanical rooms and equipment closets. The lower-mount NPT connection allows for straightforward inline or manifold installation without special fittings in most standard piping configurations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation pressure gauge for systems using standard 1/4-inch lower-mount NPT connections with a 0 to 150 psi operating range.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or qualified mechanic familiar with pressurized systems. Shut off and depressurize the system completely before removing any existing gauge or making new connections. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape appropriate for the system fluid to the NPT threads before installation. Do not overtighten the NPT connection, as aluminum case gauges can be damaged by excessive torque at the inlet fitting.
