The ASHCROFT 83254XLL is an industrial-grade analog pressure gauge designed for high-pressure monitoring applications up to 3000 psi. It features a 3.5-inch dial for clear readability and a center back mount with a 1/4-inch MNPT connection for straightforward panel or pipe installation. The stainless steel case (304/316 grade) and 316 stainless steel wetted parts provide strong resistance to corrosion in demanding service environments. Accuracy is rated at 1 percent of scale, making it suitable for process control, HVAC, plumbing, and hydraulic systems where reliable pressure indication is required. The polycarbonate lens protects the dial face without adding excess weight. The unit ships dry with no liquid fill.
This gauge is suited for commercial and industrial installations where elevated system pressures must be monitored continuously. Typical applications include high-pressure water systems, compressed air lines, hydraulic circuits, and HVAC chilled or condenser water loops. The center back mount configuration integrates cleanly into panel boards and manifold assemblies. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pipefitters are the primary trades that install and service this type of instrument. The dry (no-fill) configuration keeps the unit lightweight and avoids glycerin or silicone fill compatibility concerns in sensitive environments.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-install industrial pressure gauge for systems requiring a 1/4-inch MNPT center back mount connection and a 0 to 3000 psi measurement range.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or pipefitter in accordance with applicable local codes and the IFGC or IPC as relevant to the system. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing an existing gauge or threading in this unit. Use appropriate thread sealant on the MNPT connection and tighten with a wrench applied to the hex fitting body, not the gauge case. Do not overtighten, as this can damage the Bourdon tube or connection threads.
