The ASHCROFT 83222XLL is a dry analog pressure gauge with a 3.5-inch dial, stainless steel case, and stainless steel wetted parts. It reads a compound pressure range of 30 inches vacuum to 0 to 150 psi and mounts from the lower port using a 1/4-inch threaded connection. Accuracy is rated at 1 percent of full scale. The dry, no-fill construction keeps the gauge lightweight at 0.25 pounds and suited for applications where glycerin or silicone fill is not required or desired. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and mechanical contractors commonly install this gauge on pressure test rigs, process lines, and service equipment.
This gauge fits residential and light commercial applications where a compact, corrosion-resistant instrument is needed. The stainless steel wetted parts make it appropriate for mildly corrosive media including water, steam, refrigerants, and certain process fluids. Lower-mount configuration positions the dial face upward when the gauge is installed on a vertical pipe or manifold, which is standard for panel and manifold assemblies. It is not liquid-filled, so it performs best in low-vibration environments or static pressure monitoring situations.

Because this is a dry gauge, avoid installing it on systems with high vibration or pulsating pressure without an appropriate snubber or isolation valve.
