The ASHCROFT 83219 is a liquid-filled industrial pressure gauge designed for accurate, reliable pressure monitoring in demanding trade and industrial applications. It features a 2.5-inch analog dial with a 0 to 300 psi range and delivers 1% of scale accuracy. The stainless steel case (304/316 grade) and polycarbonate lens provide durability in wet, corrosive, or high-vibration environments. The liquid-filled design dampens needle flutter caused by pressure pulsation or mechanical vibration, making readings easier to track under active system conditions. A 1/4-inch NPT lower-mount connection allows straightforward inline or manifold installation by HVAC technicians, plumbers, pipefitters, and industrial maintenance professionals.
This gauge is suited for residential and commercial applications where a compact, durable pressure instrument is needed on water, gas, oil, or air systems. The lower-mount NPT configuration fits standard tapped ports on pumps, compressors, pressure vessels, and piping systems. The liquid-filled stainless steel construction makes it a practical choice for outdoor installations or environments exposed to moisture, washdown conditions, or mild chemical exposure. It carries certifications including CRN, IP54, IP65/NEMA 4, PED, and RoHS, supporting use across a broad range of regulated installations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-install industrial pressure gauge for systems with a 1/4-inch NPT lower-mount port requiring a 0 to 300 psi range.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or qualified mechanical technician. Isolate and depressurize the system completely before removing or installing any pressure gauge. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to NPT threads per standard practice, and do not overtighten the connection fitting. Verify the system pressure range does not exceed the 300 psi maximum rating of this gauge during normal or surge conditions.
