The ASHCROFT 82136XLL is an analog pressure gauge built for accurate pressure monitoring in plumbing, HVAC, and industrial service applications. It features a 3.5-inch dial with a 0 to 15 psi range and a dual-scale display that also reads 30 inches of mercury vacuum, making it a compound-capable instrument for low-pressure systems. The stainless steel case and stainless steel wetted parts provide corrosion resistance in wet or chemically active environments. Accuracy is rated at 1 percent of scale, meeting standard requirements for trade and light industrial service work. The gauge ships dry with no liquid fill.
This gauge is suited for residential and light commercial applications where a reliable, corrosion-resistant pressure indicator is needed at low-pressure service points. Common install locations include domestic water systems, boiler supply lines, HVAC hydronic circuits, and pump discharge monitoring. The center back mount configuration allows flush panel or bracket mounting where a rear-entry connection is required. A 0.25-inch NPT male thread provides a standard connection to most plumbing and HVAC fittings without adapters.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-install pressure gauge for residential and light commercial plumbing, hydronic heating, and HVAC systems requiring a center back mount, 0.25-inch NPT connection, and a 0 to 15 psi operating range.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or HVAC technician. Shut off system pressure and depressurize the line before removing or installing any pressure gauge. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the NPT threads per local plumbing code requirements — do not overtighten, as stainless fittings can gall. Verify the gauge pressure range is appropriate for the system before placing the system back into service.
