The ASHCROFT 82130 is a liquid-filled industrial pressure gauge designed for accurate pressure monitoring in demanding service environments. It features a 2.5-inch analog dial with a 0 to 160 psi range and a vacuum-to-pressure span from -30 in Hg to 160 psi. The 316 stainless steel Bourdon tube and 304/316 stainless steel case provide corrosion resistance suitable for HVAC, plumbing, and industrial process applications. Liquid fill dampens needle vibration and protects internal components from pulsating pressure conditions. A licensed technician or journeyman tradesperson typically installs this gauge during system commissioning or maintenance service calls.
This gauge is suited for residential and commercial HVAC systems, hydronic heating and cooling loops, compressed air lines, water distribution, and general industrial process piping. The center back mount configuration allows direct installation into panel or bulkhead applications where a flush rear-entry connection is required. The 1/4-inch NPT threaded connection is a standard fitting size compatible with most common trade supply and process piping configurations. The 1 percent of scale accuracy rating makes it appropriate for system performance verification and routine pressure checks.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation pressure gauge for industrial, HVAC, plumbing, and process piping systems requiring a 1/4-inch NPT center back mount connection and a 0 to 160 psi analog dial.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or industrial pipefitter. Shut down and depressurize the system fully before removing any existing gauge or connecting the new unit. Apply appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to the NPT threads per IPC and IFGC guidelines, and do not overtighten the brass or stainless connection to avoid gauge body damage. Verify system pressure does not exceed the 160 psi maximum range rating during operation.
