The ASHCROFT 82122 is an analog pressure gauge designed for accurate pressure monitoring across a wide range of industrial and mechanical systems. The gauge features a 2.5-inch dial with a pressure range of -30 inches Hg to 150 psi, making it suitable for both vacuum and positive-pressure readings. The stainless steel case provides corrosion resistance in demanding environments. Accuracy is rated at 1 percent of full scale. The 1/4-inch NPT center back mount connection allows for straightforward panel or pipe installation. This gauge is installed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and mechanical contractors in applications where reliable pressure indication is required.
The ASHCROFT 82122 is suited for residential and commercial HVAC systems, plumbing installations, compressed air lines, and hydraulic circuits where a compact, dry (non-liquid-filled) gauge is appropriate. The center back mount configuration positions the gauge flush against panels or manifolds, keeping the dial visible in tight installations. This model is not liquid filled, which simplifies installation in environments where gauge fluid contamination is not acceptable.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation pressure gauge for systems with a standard 1/4-inch NPT back-mount port, including HVAC, plumbing, compressed air, and general mechanical applications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician in accordance with applicable mechanical and plumbing codes. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing any existing gauge or making new connections. Apply appropriate thread sealant to the NPT threads and hand-tighten before using a wrench, being careful not to over-torque the fitting into the gauge socket. Mount orientation should keep the dial face visible and protected from direct impact or excessive vibration.
