The ASHCROFT 82116XLL is an industrial-grade analog pressure gauge designed for high-pressure measurement up to 10,000 psi. It features a 2.5-inch dial with a 1% of scale accuracy rating, making it suitable for demanding process and hydraulic applications where reliable readings are critical. The stainless steel case (grades 304 and 316) combined with fully stainless steel wetted parts provides corrosion resistance in harsh environments. The Bourdon tube is constructed from 316 stainless steel. A polycarbonate lens protects the dial face. Licensed HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical contractors as well as industrial service technicians are the primary installers of this type of gauge.
This gauge is used in industrial process systems, hydraulic circuits, high-pressure fluid systems, and mechanical service applications requiring readings up to 10,000 psi. The center back mount configuration and 1/4-inch MNPT connection suit panel-mount and pipe-mount installations in both commercial and industrial settings. The non-liquid-filled design keeps the installation straightforward in environments where ambient vibration is not a primary concern. It meets CRN, IP54, IP65/NEMA 4, PED, and RoHS standards, supporting a range of regulatory and certification requirements across North American and international applications.
Designed as an OEM-style industrial pressure gauge suitable for high-pressure hydraulic, process, and mechanical systems using a 1/4-inch MNPT center back mount connection.
Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, or industrial mechanical technicians. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any pressure gauge. Apply thread sealant appropriate for the system fluid and pressure rating to the MNPT threads; do not over-tighten, as this can crack the gauge socket or distort the connection. Follow applicable local plumbing and mechanical codes when installing in regulated process systems.
