The ASHCROFT 82114 is an analog industrial pressure gauge designed to measure pressures from 0 to 3000 psi. It features a 2.5-inch dial with a stainless steel case and a center back mount configuration for direct panel or pipe installation. The Bourdon tube is constructed from 316 stainless steel for corrosion resistance in demanding fluid and gas service applications. Connection is made via a 1/4-inch NPT thread. Accuracy is rated at 1% of scale, meeting the requirements of most industrial process and mechanical system monitoring tasks. The lens is polycarbonate for impact resistance. This gauge is dry (non-liquid-filled) and suited for applications where vibration dampening fluid is not required.
This gauge is used in industrial, commercial, and mechanical process environments where reliable pressure indication is needed on hydraulic lines, pneumatic systems, compressed air circuits, or process piping. The center back mount makes it well suited for panel-mounted or manifold installations. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance professionals are the primary installers of this gauge type. It is not intended for oxygen service unless the gauge and fittings have been specifically cleaned and rated for that use.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-install industrial pressure gauge compatible with 1/4-inch NPT center back mount pressure gauge applications in industrial, HVAC, and mechanical piping systems.
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber, pipefitter, or mechanical technician in accordance with applicable codes including ASME B31.1 or B31.3 as applicable to the system. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before removing or installing any pressure gauge. Apply appropriate thread sealant to the NPT threads without blocking the gauge port orifice. Do not overtighten the gauge body by gripping the case; use a wrench on the hex of the connection fitting only.
