The ASHCROFT 80251XLL is an analog pressure gauge designed for industrial and mechanical service applications where reliable, accurate pressure indication is required. The gauge features a 4.5-inch dial for easy readability and a rear flange mount for panel or surface installations. It covers a pressure range of 0 to 15 psi with an accuracy rating of 0.5 percent of full scale. The aluminum case keeps overall weight low at 2.5 pounds, while the stainless steel wetted parts provide corrosion resistance against the process media. This is a dry, non-liquid-filled gauge. Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or instrumentation technicians.
This gauge is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing, HVAC, and process piping applications where low-range pressure monitoring is needed. The rear flange mount configuration allows it to be panel-mounted or surface-mounted directly from the back of the gauge, making it a practical choice for instrument panels and control boards. The 0.25-inch threaded connection fits standard NPT fittings commonly found in plumbing and HVAC systems. Its stainless steel wetted parts make it compatible with a range of non-aggressive fluids and gases commonly encountered in trade applications.
Designed as an OEM-style analog pressure gauge for use in low-pressure plumbing, HVAC, and process piping systems that accept a 0.25-inch threaded rear-mount gauge connection.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified instrumentation technician in accordance with applicable local codes. Isolate and depressurize the system fully before removing or installing the gauge. Use appropriate thread sealant on NPT connections and avoid overtightening, which can damage the gauge socket. Do not exceed the rated pressure range of the gauge during service or testing.
