The ASHCROFT 80244XLL is an analog pressure gauge built for accurate pressure monitoring in commercial and industrial service applications. It features a 4.5-inch dial with a compound pressure range of 30 inches Hg vacuum to 0 to 15 psi, making it suitable for low-pressure systems that require both vacuum and positive pressure readings. The aluminum case keeps weight down at 2.5 pounds while the stainless steel wetted parts provide corrosion resistance in wet or chemically active service environments. Accuracy is rated at 0.5 percent of scale. The rear flange mount design allows flush panel or wall-surface installation without additional mounting hardware.
This gauge is used in HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, and light industrial applications where a panel-mounted or surface-mounted pressure indicator is required. The compound scale covering vacuum through low positive pressure suits it for monitoring suction lines, low-pressure gas systems, chilled water circuits, and similar service points. Licensed HVAC technicians and plumbers typically specify this gauge where a durable, readable, non-liquid-filled analog display is needed at a fixed monitoring station.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation analog pressure gauge for HVAC, plumbing, and light industrial systems requiring a rear flange mount with a 1/4-inch NPT connection and a 4.5-inch dial.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed HVAC technician or plumber. Isolate and depressurize the system completely before removing an existing gauge or installing a new one. Use appropriate thread sealant on the 1/4-inch NPT connection and tighten to fitting manufacturer specifications using an appropriately sized wrench on the gauge socket, not the case. Verify the system pressure range falls within the gauge scale before returning the system to service.
