The ASHCROFT 662876750144 is a digital pressure gauge designed for accurate pressure measurement in industrial, mechanical, and fluid system applications. It covers a range of 0 to 500 psi with an accuracy of 0.25% of scale, making it suitable for demanding service conditions where a traditional analog dial would be harder to read. The 2.5-inch digital display is housed in a black plastic case with a polycarbonate lens. Stainless steel wetted parts provide corrosion resistance when exposed to a variety of media. This gauge is part of the DG25 series and installs via a lower-mount 1/4-inch NPT connection.
This gauge is used in residential and light commercial HVAC systems, plumbing pressure testing, hydraulic lines, compressed air systems, and industrial process monitoring. The lower-mount NPT configuration makes it a straightforward drop-in for panel or pipe installations where the connection enters from the bottom. Its IP67 rating means it can handle wash-down environments and temporary immersion without damage. The operating temperature range of -4 degrees F to 140 degrees F covers most indoor and moderate outdoor service conditions.
Designed as a direct-install digital pressure gauge for systems using 1/4-inch NPT lower-mount fittings across compressed air, hydraulic, plumbing, and HVAC applications. Part of the ASHCROFT DG25 series.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or qualified maintenance professional. Isolate and depressurize the system completely before removing or installing any pressure gauge. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the NPT threads per standard trade practice — do not overtighten, as plastic-body gauges are susceptible to case stress cracking. Verify the system operating pressure does not exceed the 500 psi maximum range of this gauge before returning the system to service.
