The ASHCROFT 61379S4LLLV/150 is an analog pressure gauge with a 6-inch dial, lower mount configuration, and a pressure range of 30 inches of vacuum to 0 to 150 psi. The case is constructed from aluminum, while all wetted parts are stainless steel, making it suitable for applications where corrosion resistance is required. Accuracy is rated at 0.5% of scale. The gauge is dry (no liquid fill), which simplifies installation in environments where liquid-filled gauges are not required. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and mechanical contractors use this gauge for system pressure monitoring on water, gas, and process piping installations.
This gauge is well suited for residential and commercial mechanical systems where a large, easy-to-read 6-inch dial face is needed at the point of measurement. Lower mount (bottom entry) makes it a direct fit for most threaded gauge ports on headers, manifolds, and pressure taps. The 1/2-inch lower mount connection threads directly into standard NPT fittings common in HVAC, plumbing, and light industrial process lines. Stainless steel wetted parts allow use with mildly corrosive media, including treated water and common refrigeration system fluids.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct installation gauge for residential and commercial mechanical systems using standard 1/2-inch NPT lower-mount gauge ports on water, gas, or process piping manifolds.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or qualified mechanical contractor. Shut off system pressure and relieve all residual pressure in the line before removing or installing any pressure gauge. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the NPT threads per applicable IPC or IFGC guidelines, and do not over-tighten, as aluminum-case gauges can crack at the socket. Verify that the gauge pressure range is appropriate for the system operating pressure before placing the system back in service.
