This gauge is rated for process and industrial service and carries CRN certification along with an IP66 and NEMA 4X environmental rating, confirming it is suitable for washdown and outdoor environments where moisture and dust ingress are concerns. Apply appropriate thread sealant to the 1/4-inch MNPT connection and tighten to the fitting manufacturer specification using a wrench on the hex of the gauge body, not on the case or dial. Do not overtighten, as doing so can damage the socket or affect calibration.
