The ASHCROFT 451379S2LXLL20K is a heavy-duty analog pressure gauge designed for industrial and mechanical system applications requiring accurate high-range pressure monitoring. It features a 4.5-inch dial for clear readability, a lower-mount 1/4-inch threaded connection, and a pressure range of 0 to 20000 psi. The case is constructed from aluminum, while all wetted parts are stainless steel for corrosion resistance in demanding service environments. Accuracy is rated at 0.5 percent of scale. The gauge is dry (no liquid fill), making it suitable for vibration-stable installations where damping is not required. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians are the typical installers.
This gauge is suited for high-pressure fluid or gas systems in commercial and industrial environments where a robust, reliable pressure reading device is needed at the point of measurement. The lower-mount configuration allows direct inline installation on pipes, manifolds, or test ports with standard 1/4-inch NPT fittings. Its stainless steel wetted parts make it appropriate for use with mildly corrosive media or systems where material compatibility with stainless is a requirement. The analog dial format provides an at-a-glance pressure reading without power or signal wiring.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation pressure gauge for industrial piping systems, hydraulic circuits, and high-pressure mechanical applications using standard 1/4-inch lower-mount threaded connections.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter, instrumentation technician, or licensed mechanical contractor. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing any existing gauge or making threaded connections. Apply appropriate thread sealant compatible with the system media to the male threads before installation — do not apply sealant to the first thread. Verify that the system pressure range does not exceed the gauge rating of 20000 psi during operation or pressure testing.
