The ASC Engineered Solutions WARDPIPE12-26 is a corrugated stainless steel tubing (CSST) gas line, sold as a 26-foot roll in the 1/2-inch nominal size. Rated for use in residential and light commercial gas distribution systems, this Wardflex-brand CSST is designed to route natural gas or propane from the meter or manifold to appliances throughout a structure. The 15A designation indicates compliance with the ANSI LC-1/CSA 6.26 flexible gas piping standard. Licensed plumbers and gas fitters install this product during new construction and retrofit projects where rigid black iron pipe is impractical.
This tubing is suited for interior gas distribution applications including runs to furnaces, water heaters, ranges, dryers, fireplaces, and other gas-fired appliances. CSST is commonly installed in residential single-family homes and light commercial buildings where flexible routing through framing cavities, floor joists, and wall assemblies is required. The 26-foot roll length is practical for single-appliance branch runs or shorter main distribution segments without a mid-run coupling.
Designed as an OEM-style flexible gas piping solution for residential and light commercial interior gas distribution systems. For use with compatible Wardflex CSST fittings and accessories only; do not mix with fittings from other CSST manufacturers or product lines.
Installation of CSST must be performed by a licensed plumber or gas fitter in accordance with local codes, IFGC requirements, and the manufacturer's installation guide. Shut off the gas supply and verify zero pressure at the work point before making any connections. CSST requires proper bonding and grounding per applicable electrical and gas codes to mitigate arc-fault risk — consult the Wardflex installation manual and local AHJ requirements for bonding conductor sizing and attachment points. Do not kink, over-bend, or route CSST through areas exposed to mechanical damage without appropriate protection sleeves or grommets.
