The ASC Engineered Solutions 8700132502 is a 1/8 inch malleable iron galvanized pipe cap designed to close off the end of a threaded pipe run. Manufactured from malleable iron with a hot-dip galvanized finish per ASTM A-153, this cap resists corrosion in wet and exposed installations. It meets Federal Specification WW-P-521F and conforms to ANSI B-16.3 for dimensions and ANSI B-2.1 for pipe thread standards, as well as ASTM A-197 for chemical and physical properties.
