Finished with a galvanized coating for corrosion resistance, it features a flat banded body that meets dimensional and thread standards for standard malleable iron fittings. The fitting is manufactured to Fed. Spec. WW-P-521F, ANSI B-16.3 for dimensions, ANSI B-2.1 for pipe threads, and ASTM A-197 for chemical and physical properties.
