The ASC Engineered Solutions 2X1B.BB is a hex head pipe bushing designed to reduce a 2-inch male NPT thread down to a 1-1/4-inch female NPT connection. Cast from black cast iron and rated at 125 lb, this bushing provides a reliable, pressure-rated threaded reduction in gas, water, and general-purpose piping systems. The hex head profile allows a wrench to seat squarely for consistent makeup torque. Plumbers and pipefitters specify this type of bushing when a reducer coupling is not practical and a compact inline reduction is required.
