The ASC Engineered Solutions 25C.WF50 is a corrugated stainless steel tubing (CSST) assembly used to distribute natural gas and propane in residential and commercial fuel-gas piping systems. Manufactured from 304 stainless steel with a black protective jacket, this flexible tubing measures 1 inch in diameter and runs 50 feet in length. It meets a rigorous stack of industry certifications including ANSI LC1, ASTM A240/E84, CSA 6.26 (112940), IAPMO PS 3353, ICC ESR-1879, and UL R18357. The domestic manufacturing designation confirms U.S. production. Licensed plumbers and gas fitters are the primary installers for this product type.
This CSST is suited for indoor and outdoor fuel-gas distribution runs in residential homes, light commercial buildings, and multi-family construction. Typical applications include branch lines from a gas meter or manifold to appliances such as furnaces, water heaters, ranges, and fireplaces. The 50-foot coil length accommodates longer single-run installations without field splicing. The black jacket color aids in quick visual identification as a bonded CSST assembly on the job site.
Designed for use in fuel-gas distribution systems where flexible corrugated stainless steel tubing is permitted under the International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC) and local amendments. Compatible with standard CSST fittings and termination components rated for 1-inch CSST from the same product family.
Installation must be performed by a licensed plumber or gas fitter in accordance with the IFGC, applicable local codes, and the manufacturer's listed installation instructions. Shut off the gas supply and verify zero pressure at the line before making any connections. CSST systems require electrical bonding per NFPA 54 and local authority requirements — confirm bonding conductor sizing and attachment points before commissioning. Do not over-bend the tubing beyond the minimum bend radius specified in the installation guide, and protect the jacket from mechanical damage where the tubing passes through framing.
