The ASC Engineered Solutions 25A.WF50 is a corrugated stainless steel tubing (CSST) assembly used for flexible gas piping in residential and commercial installations. Manufactured from 304 stainless steel with a black protective jacket, this 50-foot length of 1-inch tubing is designed to carry natural gas or propane from a meter or manifold to appliances and equipment. It meets a broad set of industry certifications including ANSI LC1, ASTM A240/E84, CSA 112940, IAPMO 3353, ICC ESR-1879, and UL R18357, confirming compliance with national safety and performance standards. Domestic manufacture supports projects requiring American-made materials.
This CSST is suited for flexible gas line routing in new construction and retrofit applications where rigid black iron pipe is impractical. The corrugated design allows the tubing to bend around framing members and through tight spaces without fittings at every direction change, reducing labor and potential leak points. It is appropriate for use in residential homes, light commercial buildings, and multifamily structures wherever flexible gas distribution is permitted by local code.

CSST gas line installation must be performed by a licensed plumber or gas fitter in accordance with the International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC) and all applicable local codes. Shut off the gas supply at the meter or main valve and verify zero pressure before making any connections. Bonding and grounding of CSST is required per IFGC and the tubing manufacturer's installation instructions to mitigate arc damage risk. Do not kink, compress, or over-bend the corrugated tubing during routing, and protect the jacket from sharp edges at penetrations.
