The ASC ENGINEERED SOLUTIONS 25A.WF100 is a corrugated stainless steel tubing (CSST) assembly used to distribute natural gas and propane in residential and light commercial installations. Manufactured from 304 stainless steel with a black jacket, this flexible tubing comes in a 100-foot coil at a 1-inch nominal diameter. The black coating serves as the protective outer jacket and is standard for identifying this CSST product category. It meets a broad range of national certifications including ANSI LC1, ASTM A240 and E84, CSA 112940, IAPMO 3353, ICC ESR-1879, and UL R18357, confirming compliance with industry safety and performance standards. Domestic manufacture is noted.
CSST like the 25A.WF100 is installed in new construction and retrofit applications where rigid black iron pipe is impractical or where routing flexibility is needed. It runs through walls, floors, and mechanical chases to connect gas meter outlets to appliances including furnaces, water heaters, boilers, fireplaces, and range equipment. The 100-foot coil length reduces the need for field splices on longer runs. Licensed plumbers and gas fitters are the primary installers of this product.
Designed as a standard CSST replacement and new-installation product for natural gas and propane distribution systems in residential and light commercial applications. Use with manufacturer-specified fittings and termination hardware rated for CSST service.
Installation must be performed by a licensed plumber or gas fitter in accordance with local gas codes, IFGC requirements, and the manufacturer's installation instructions. Shut off gas supply at the meter and verify zero pressure before cutting or connecting tubing. CSST installations typically require bonding and grounding per applicable electrical and gas codes — consult local authority having jurisdiction for specific requirements. Do not kink, over-bend, or compress the corrugated tubing during routing.
