The ASC Engineered Solutions 20C.WF50 is a corrugated stainless steel tubing (CSST) assembly used to distribute natural gas and propane in residential and light commercial piping systems. Manufactured from 304 stainless steel with a black polyethylene jacket, this 50-foot coil runs at 3/4 inch nominal diameter and meets a broad list of certifications including ANSI LC1, ASTM A240/E84, CSA 112940, IAPMO 3353, ICC ESR-1879, and UL R18357. Licensed plumbers and gas fitters install this product as part of flexible gas distribution systems where rigid black iron pipe is impractical or code-restricted.
This CSST tubing is suited for residential and light commercial gas distribution runs — from meter set to appliance drops, through walls, floors, and framing cavities. The 50-foot coil length reduces coupling points on longer runs, which lowers leak risk and simplifies rough-in. The black jacket provides UV resistance and helps differentiate the gas line from other utility lines in the building envelope. It is domestic in origin, which is frequently required on public, government, or Buy American compliant projects.
Designed for use in flexible gas piping systems distributing natural gas or propane where CSST is an approved installation method per local codes and the manufacturer's listed installation instructions.
Installation must be performed by a licensed plumber or gas fitter in accordance with IFGC requirements and the manufacturer's listed installation instructions. Shut off the gas supply at the meter or main valve and verify zero pressure before making any connections. CSST systems require proper bonding and grounding per ANSI LC1 and applicable local electrical codes — consult the fitting manufacturer's bonding requirements before commissioning. Do not bend the tubing below the minimum bend radius specified in the installation guide, and never use CSST in locations exposed to physical damage without mechanical protection.
