The ASC ENGINEERED SOLUTIONS 1330026100 is a grooved-spline butterfly valve in the FIG B8200L series, built for flow isolation and regulation in commercial and industrial piping systems. The body and disc are both ductile iron construction, providing durability under standard hydronic and fluid-handling service conditions. The stem and stem pin are 316 stainless steel for corrosion resistance at the critical sealing interface. An EPDM seat handles the soft-goods sealing duties, rated for service from 32 degrees F to 140 degrees F. A lever handle actuator provides manual quarter-turn operation. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters are the primary installers of this type of fitting.
This valve is suited for use in commercial HVAC piping, hydronic heating and cooling distribution, industrial process lines, and fire protection-adjacent piping where grooved-spline end connections are specified. The 3-inch nominal size and grooved spline end style allow it to integrate directly into grooved coupling piping systems common in larger commercial and institutional mechanical rooms. The epoxy powder coat finish and black oxide coloring are standard for this product class and provide additional surface protection. Domestic origin makes this valve suitable for projects with Buy American requirements.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation butterfly valve for 3-inch grooved spline piping systems in commercial HVAC, hydronic, and industrial fluid-handling applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter following applicable local mechanical codes and the piping system manufacturer guidelines for grooved coupling assembly. Depressurize and drain the affected piping section completely before removing any existing valve or fitting. Verify flow direction markings and lever orientation before final coupling assembly. Do not exceed the rated temperature range of 32 degrees F to 140 degrees F in continuous service.
