The ASC Engineered Solutions D.NMCAP is a straight pipe cap designed to terminate the end of a threaded pipe run with a secure, leak-resistant seal. Rated at 150 lb and manufactured from malleable iron with a galvanized finish, it accepts a 1/2 inch female NPT (FNPT) connection. The galvanized coating provides corrosion resistance for use in damp or exposed environments. This fitting is commonly installed by licensed plumbers and pipefitters on gas, water, and general industrial piping systems where a clean, threaded pipe end closure is required.
