The ARZEL ZONING TECHNOLOGY stk-er0014 is a 14-inch round pneumatic zoning damper designed for use in forced-air HVAC zoning systems. It operates without motors or gears, relying instead on low-pressure air supplied by a medical-grade pump housed inside the Arzel Zoning control panel. Pneumatic tubing connects the damper to the panel, which delivers pressure or vacuum to open and close the blade. Licensed HVAC technicians install this damper by cutting a round hole into a metal duct, inserting the unit, and securing it with screws. The motorless, pneumatic design removes the most common points of mechanical failure found in motor-driven dampers.

The stk-er0014 is suited for residential and light-commercial forced-air zoning retrofits and new installations where metal round ductwork is present. Its insertable design makes it practical for retrofit work where duct access is limited and cutting into existing sheet metal is preferable to full duct replacement. Because actuation is pneumatic rather than electric, no low-voltage wiring to the damper itself is required. Arzel Zoning offers sleeved versions for non-metal ductwork applications where direct insertion into sheet metal is not feasible.

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by qualified HVAC technicians. Before cutting into the duct, shut down the air handler and de-pressurize the system.
