The ARZEL ZONING TECHNOLOGY stk-er0009 is a 9-inch round pneumatic zoning damper designed for use in forced-air HVAC zoning systems. It operates without motors or gears, using low-pressure air supplied by a medical-grade pump inside the Arzel Zoning control panel to open and close via pneumatic tubing. This motorless actuation method reduces mechanical failure points and contributes to long-term reliability. Licensed HVAC technicians install this damper as part of a complete Arzel Zoning system, where it regulates airflow to individual zones in residential or light commercial ductwork.
The stk-er0009 is suited for installation in round metal ductwork as part of a multi-zone HVAC system. Its insertable design makes it compatible with retrofit applications, eliminating the need to replace existing duct runs. The damper connects to the zoning panel via standard pneumatic tubing and responds to pressure or vacuum signals from the panel pump to modulate zone airflow. It is part of a product line that includes 70 stock sizes, with sleeved variants available for non-metal ductwork installations.
Compatible with any Arzel Zoning panel. Designed for installation in 9-inch round metal ductwork as part of an Arzel Zoning system.
Installation is performed by a licensed HVAC technician. The technician cuts a hole in the metal duct, inserts the damper body, and secures it with screws. Pneumatic tubing is then routed from the damper to the Arzel Zoning control panel. Power down the zoning system and depressurize the pneumatic circuit before servicing or replacing a damper.
