The Arrowhead Brass & Plumbing 486-12LF is a self-draining, frost-proof hydrant. This hydrant features a half-inch male iron pipe thread and a half-inch copper sweat inlet connection. It has a three-quarter inch male hose thread outlet connection. Manufactured from lead-free brass, it includes a factory-installed, fine-thread self-draining vacuum breaker. This design allows the hydrant to drain when shut off, helping to prevent freezing. Additionally, it incorporates an O-ring bonnet and stem design.
