The ARROWHEAD BRASS PLUMBING 456-08LF is a frost-free wall hydrant constructed from red brass and certified lead free. Designed for outdoor residential and light commercial plumbing applications, this hydrant features an 8-inch bury depth to position the internal valve seat behind the building envelope, allowing water to drain from the standpipe after each use and preventing freeze damage. The inlet connections are 1/2 inch male iron pipe thread (MIP) on the supply side and 1/2 inch female copper pipe (FIP) on the inlet end. Licensed plumbers and experienced contractors install this type of fitting as part of exterior water service rough-in work.

Installation Notes
