The ARROW 591168 is a galvanized steel insulated staple used to secure and protect low-voltage wiring, communication cables, and similar conductors along framing, studs, and other structural surfaces. The insulated collar prevents direct metal-to-wire contact, reducing abrasion and the risk of conductor damage at the fastening point. With a 1/4 inch leg length and 1/4 inch width, this staple is sized for light-gauge wire and cable runs common in residential and light commercial electrical, HVAC control wiring, and low-voltage data applications. Each package contains 300 staples.
These insulated staples are suited for routing thermostat wire, bell wire, coaxial cable, and similar small-diameter conductors. Electricians, HVAC technicians, and low-voltage installers commonly use them when stapling control or signal wiring to wood framing. The galvanized steel construction provides corrosion resistance in typical interior environments. The 300-count pack supports a full job or multiple service calls without reordering.
Designed as an OEM-style fastener for use with standard Arrow-compatible staple guns accepting 1/4 inch insulated staples.
Insulated staples are typically installed by licensed electricians or HVAC technicians during low-voltage wiring runs. De-energize all circuits before fastening wire to avoid shock hazard. Drive staples snug against the cable without over-driving, as excessive force can crush conductor insulation and create a fault. Follow NEC guidelines for staple spacing and approved conductor fastening methods.
