The ARMACELL bst05812 is a black, closed-cell elastomeric split tube pipe insulation designed for use on copper, steel, and plastic pipe in HVAC, plumbing, and refrigeration applications. The split, lap-seal design allows the insulation to be opened lengthwise and snapped onto existing pipe runs without cutting or disconnecting fittings. With a 5/8 inch inner diameter and a 1/2 inch wall thickness, this product provides a thermal and condensation barrier on small-diameter lines. Each box covers 50 linear feet, making it suitable for full system runs or large service calls.
