The ARMACELL apt03412 is a closed-cell, flexible elastomeric pipe insulation designed to control condensation and reduce energy loss on refrigerant and chilled-water lines. It features a fiber-free, formaldehyde-free, low-VOC, non-particulating formulation that protects indoor air quality in occupied spaces. The closed-cell nitrile and PVC composition provides a built-in vapor retardant barrier, eliminating the need for a separate vapor retarder wrap. Microban antimicrobial protection is integrated into the material to resist mold growth. Rated 25/50 for flame spread and smoke development, this insulation is approved for use in air plenums with wall thickness up to 2 inches. The nominal inside diameter is 3/4 inch with a 1/2 inch wall thickness, and each piece is 6 feet in length.
