The ARLINGTON LT38 is a straight liquidtight flexible conduit connector sized for 3/8 inch trade-size flexible conduit. It provides a secure, watertight termination point where liquidtight flexible conduit meets an enclosure knockout, junction box, or panel. The connector is designed for use in electrical installations where moisture resistance is required at the conduit termination. Licensed electricians install this fitting as part of branch circuit wiring, equipment connections, and HVAC control wiring runs that require flexible, liquidtight routing.
The LT38 is suited for residential and light commercial electrical applications where 3/8 inch liquidtight flexible metal or nonmetallic conduit is used. Common installation scenarios include connections to motors, HVAC equipment, compressors, and outdoor or damp-location enclosures. Its straight body configuration is appropriate where the conduit approaches the enclosure at a direct angle without requiring a bend at the fitting itself.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement fitting compatible with standard 3/8 inch trade-size liquidtight flexible conduit systems in residential and commercial electrical installations.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC requirements for liquidtight flexible conduit fittings. De-energize the circuit and verify absence of voltage before making any connections at the enclosure. Hand-tighten the locknut to seat the connector in the knockout, then snug with a wrench — do not overtighten, as excessive force can crack the fitting body or damage the knockout. Ensure the conduit is fully seated and the sealing ring is properly engaged before restoring power.
