The ARLINGTON INDUSTRIES NMSC9038 is a 3/8 inch 90-degree screw-on non-metallic liquidtight (NMLT) conduit connector designed for fast, tool-efficient termination of flexible non-metallic liquidtight conduit. The screw-on design eliminates the need for separate locknuts by threading directly onto the conduit fitting, speeding up rough-in and trim-out work. The 90-degree body angle is suited for tight spaces where straight connectors cannot make a clean bend radius. Electricians and low-voltage installers use this fitting to terminate flexible conduit runs at junction boxes, enclosures, and equipment knockouts without damaging the conduit jacket.
This connector is commonly used in residential and light commercial electrical installations where flexible non-metallic liquidtight conduit is routed to motors, HVAC equipment, pumps, and other machinery requiring vibration isolation or frequent repositioning. The 90-degree configuration is particularly useful at equipment connections where the conduit exits a cabinet or enclosure and must change direction immediately. It is sold individually and is a standard hardware accessory stocked by electrical and HVAC tradespeople for service and new-construction work.
Designed as an OEM-style fitting for use with 3/8 inch non-metallic liquidtight flexible conduit in standard electrical enclosure and equipment knockout applications.
Installation is performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC Article 356 governing liquidtight flexible nonmetallic conduit. De-energize all circuits at the panel before working at any enclosure or equipment termination point. Hand-thread the connector onto the conduit end, then seat it into the knockout and secure the retaining nut snugly without over-tightening the non-metallic body. Verify the conduit run maintains the minimum bend radius required by the conduit manufacturer and the applicable code.
