The ARLINGTON INDUSTRIES MBC25A is a beam clamp designed to provide a secure mechanical attachment point to structural steel beams and flanges. Beam clamps of this type are used to support conduit, cable trays, raceways, and other electrical system components where drilling or welding to steel is not practical or permitted. This hardware is typically installed by licensed electricians and electrical contractors during structural rough-in or fit-out work. The MBC25A is sold individually as a single unit, allowing jobsite purchase in the exact quantity required.
Beam clamps in this category are commonly used in commercial and industrial electrical installations where conduit runs or cable support systems must be suspended from or anchored to I-beams, H-beams, and similar structural steel flanges. Typical applications include factory floors, warehouses, mechanical rooms, and any open-structure building where exposed structural steel serves as the primary support infrastructure. Installation does not require welding, cutting, or drilling into the beam.
Designed as an OEM-style attachment fitting for use with standard structural steel beam flanges in commercial and industrial electrical installations.
Installation of beam clamps should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements for conduit and cable support systems. De-energize all circuits in the work area before beginning any attachment to beam structures near energized conductors. Verify the beam flange thickness and width are within the clamp's rated clamping range before tightening. Do not exceed the clamp's rated load capacity when supporting conduit, cable tray, or other hardware.
