The ARLINGTON INDUSTRIES LT9038A is an insulated 90-degree liquidtight conduit connector designed to secure flexible liquidtight conduit to electrical enclosures, junction boxes, and panels where a right-angle entry is required. The 3/8 inch trade size makes it suitable for smaller conduit runs common in control wiring, low-voltage circuits, and equipment connections. The insulated throat protects wire insulation from abrasion at the point of entry, a detail that matters in environments where vibration or repeated flexing is present. This fitting is handled by licensed electricians during panel work, equipment hook-ups, and anywhere liquidtight flexible conduit terminates at a 90-degree angle.
This connector is used in commercial and residential electrical installations where conduit must change direction at the enclosure entrance without a separate elbow fitting. Typical applications include HVAC equipment wiring, motor connections, and control panel wiring where conduit flexibility and moisture resistance are both needed. The 90-degree body reduces the bend radius required at the termination point, easing installation in tight spaces and protecting the conduit from kinking.
Designed as an OEM-style fitting for use with 3/8 inch trade size liquidtight flexible conduit in standard electrical enclosure knockouts of the corresponding size.
Installation is performed by a licensed electrician. De-energize all circuits and lock out power at the panel before beginning conduit termination work. Ensure the knockout size matches the 3/8 inch trade size of this connector before installation. Follow applicable NEC requirements for liquidtight flexible conduit fittings and secure the locknut firmly to maintain a reliable ground path where required.
